I have drank from the rains,
I have shared from the rains,
More addictively
Than compulsively.

I have heard the rains,
I have sung the rains,
More in verses
Than hymns.

I have sketched the rains,
I have splashed the rains,
More as a child
Than being an adult.

I have held the rains,
I have hugged the rains,
More emotionally
Than casually.

I have saved a part of the rains,
I have saved an element of the rains,
Only to rejoice with you
In their crowning glory.
