THIS DAY, THAT YEAR

On this day of that year

When bitterness was not so dear

Floating over the ocean

Dressed in a killing gear

They breached the city of dreams

Unleashing a nightmare

Releasing cryptic fury

They painted a night of dire and fire

Shedding blood, draining bullets

A city was made the target

By fanatics who conspire

They silenced lives

They silenced voices

They silenced desires

Moving around with killing machines

There seemed to be no end to the regime

Cops were gunned

Security was shunned

In a group of ten

They left the city in pain

Sponsored by our nation’s neighbor

We still take their terrorizing favors

Vomiting talks of peace

Our leaders appease

We urge to put an end

To this nonsense please

No more bloodshed shall we bear

In the face of terror

We daringly stare

Let us reply in bullet for a bullet

And let us stand in support

Of 26/11 Martyrs – The Great

Let us pray for their bleeding souls

And let us all pledge in whole…

WHAT I HAVE?

I have no guitar to strum a song
I have no car to drive along.

I have no flowers to impress
I have no words to express.

I have no gifts to share
I have no crystal to stare.

I have no diamonds to sparkle
I have no secret to marvel.

But I do have a heart, which beats apart
And I desire to make this heart a part of your heart.
